About Open Road Collective
A relaxed VTC for Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator
Open Road Collective [ORC] is a virtual trucking company on TruckersMP for drivers who want to enjoy the road without pressure. We drive in Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator, on our own schedule and in the trucks we like. There are no mileage requirements, no mandatory events and no activity checks.
What makes ORC different is how it is run. ORC is a collective: members propose ideas in our forum, vote on rules, events and partnerships, and staff publish every decision with the reasoning behind it. Many of our members joined after leaving stricter, top-down VTCs.
Convoys on TruckersMP, always optional
We host regular ETS2 and ATS convoys on TruckersMP, from scenic routes along the Norwegian coast to night drives on Route 66. Routes are often chosen by member vote. Every convoy is optional, and guests from other VTCs are welcome at open events.
Who can join
Anyone aged 16 or over with a TruckersMP account in good standing and a copy of ETS2 or ATS. Applications go through our Discord and are usually reviewed within a day.

What is a VTC in Euro Truck Simulator 2?
A virtual trucking company (VTC) is a group of players who drive together under one name on TruckersMP, the multiplayer mod for ETS2 and ATS. VTCs organise convoys, share a Discord and often track their deliveries.
Does ORC have mileage or activity requirements?
No. There are no mileage requirements, no activity checks and no mandatory events. You drive as much or as little as you like.
Can I join ORC with only ATS?
Yes. Members drive Euro Truck Simulator 2, American Truck Simulator or both. We host convoys in both games.
What is the minimum age to join?
16 years. You also need a TruckersMP account in good standing and a Discord account.
Do I need DLC to join?
No DLC is needed to join ORC. Some convoys use map DLC; the event page always lists what you need.
How do members have a say?
Members post proposals in the ideas forum, discuss them openly and vote in polls. Staff publish every decision with the reasoning on our Decisions page.
